Services Provided: BIM Model

For the Big Blue Bus project, the firm
developed a BIM model of the architectural
and structural components. The BIM model
was used for building systems coordination,
steel fabrication and construction. The firm
is an integral part of a construction team
with multiple sub-contractors, including
mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire

sprinkler, fire safety, hydraulics and security.
The model was updated weekly for the sub
contractors to make adjustments to any
changes resulting from RFI’s and change
orders. The firm also used the model for
the production of shop drawings of the
foundations, floor slabs, concrete walls
and cmu walls of the project.
